Stephen Na is a visual development artist that has a passion for background, layout, character, and prop design for film and animation. Storytelling and entertainment is a major part of his creative process and demonstrates it with a visual language in the film making process using elements of design such as composition, lighting, and color.

He graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration - Entertainment Arts where he studied with many renowned professionals of the animation industry. Although proficient with digital mediums, he also gained many skills using traditional mediums like pencil, ink, charcoal, oil, acrylic, and gouache, valuing the nuance and importance of analogue illustration for development.

Outside of visual art and design, Stephen loves to make music and plays instruments like guitar, piano, synthesizers, and drum machines. His favorite kind of music is Bebop, Jazz, Electronic, and Alternative music.
